We provide WordPress maintenance contacts to fit most budgets.
Your website is software, and it needs to be kept up-to-date in order to function properly and to keep your site safe, this is where a WordPress maintenance contract comes in handy!
For all the sites we design and build, we recommend a WordPress maintenance contract post-launch so we can look after your site for you and take care of updates, installs and fixes.
WordPress is an incredibly intuitive piece of software, but if you’re not techy, some aspects of managing a WordPress site can be tricky.
You’ve already paid for your site, so why should you pay more?
We hear you. WordPress sites can be quite expensive projects, so we appreciate that the thought of more cost on top of your initial investment can seem a bit too much.
But think of it like this:
WordPress is software, and as with all software, it gets updated and improved on a regular basis.
That site you launched three months ago is now out-of-date – guaranteed (unless you’ve updated it).
An out-of-date site is more susceptible to hacks, plugin conflicts and a range of other problems.
And there’s more…
Most agencies (including us) don’t provide free lifetime support for the sites we build.
The design and build project stage of your website has an endpoint – when it goes live.
At Toast, we also provide you with two-weeks of post-live support (many agencies don’t do this).
But after that, you’re on your own (sort of).
Obviously, if something goes wrong with your website, you can call us up and we can take a look at it for you, but like you, we run a commercial operation, and we have to charge for the work we do.
Again, like most WordPress agencies, we charge by the hour and have a minimum charge of one hour, so that small fix will be billed at one hour, even if it took 20 minutes (it cost us to also deal with the request, do the work, send the invoice etc).
With a support contract from Toast, you’ve paid for the work already, and we work by the minute. This saves you time and money.
Our support packages are low-cost and provide effective support as-and-when you need it.
We’ve developed a range of very affordable monthly plans to help clients with their websites.
Our Sitecare plans are scalable and designed to meet your requirements today, and grow with you if you should need additional website support.
Toast support plans include site maintenance and can be purchased in conjunction with a range of other services so you can build a package of support that suits.
About our Website maintenance packages
Monthly WordPress maintenance plans
If you need a reliable monthly service to update and check your WordPress site, we can help you with that.
We have three monthly support plans that cover most types of site, and these start from as little as £40 ex VAT per month.
Need something more flexible?
If you only need help every-so-often, our flexible Toast Time might be the best option for you.
It’s pre-bought time, that you can use when required for work on your site; this might be for updates, content editing or anything else site or design related.
Toast Time is used in blocks of 15 minutes, so it’s more economical than hourly rates.
Totally ad-hoc support
Some of our clients just work on ad-hoc support. This is where we charge by the hour (minimum charge is one hour) and we schedule requests to be done as soon as possible.
This type of support often works best to start with if you are unsure of the level of WordPress support that you need.
We also look after some large sites.
Often our clients will have several people that can make requests and need work doing on a daily or weekly basis.
For this type of support, please get in touch and we’ll chat with you about your needs and put together a maintenance plan that’s right for you.
What else is covered?
You’ll also find that WordPress maintenance plans can help you with other stuff like:
- Improving your site speed and hosting
- WordPress security (including log-ins, SSL and HTTPS
- Site safety
- Regular site checks
- Ranking and Keyword reports
- And much more…
We can help you even if we didn’t build your site
We know WordPress, so if you’ve had a site built by someone else, but you’d like us to provide your on-going support and maintenance, just give us a call.
We’ll have a look at your site and advise how we can best help.
